Tackling real-world problems through Interdisciplinary Collaboration (TIC)

One Health (Life Sciences)

One Health

The interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health presents unique challenges that require a One Health approach. This challenge invites students to examine how human activities—including in animal treatment and food production—affect health at all levels. Students will explore ways to create a more sustainable food system that reduces emissions, preserves biodiversity, and improves public health. Through interdisciplinary teamwork, they will develop solutions to address these urgent health issues, learning to balance ecological and societal needs in pursuit of a healthier planet.
